QuantumPM's EZReporting simplifies the creation of database views to all Project Server and Project Portfolio Server information for external reporting or integration to other systems. It allows a user to quickly and easily find and query attributes from the EPM solution, including Issues and Risks data and provides an interface to the EPM data so that the report designer does not have to deal with the overwhelming complexity of the EPM database schema. For most report writers, 80% of the time is spent finding the right data, not creating the report. SRS reports require extensive SQL queries experience. Not with EZReporting! Project Server 2007 database table structure, field names and domain knowledge are required to develop practical SQL queries for data extracts and reports. There are draft, published or reporting databases, and some data may be duplicated across these. QPM EZR provides simplified, "flat" database views for projects, resources, task, assignments and time sheets. EZReporting creates views that simplify the work and allow even a novice SQL query writer to create useful reports. EZR views include custom fields from your Project Server implementation. This includes two fields for text fields that use an outline structure - one for the entire outline string and a second for just the lowest level value. Lookup tables for custom fields are also provided to allow selection, groups or filtering on lookup table values. EZReporting for Project Server 2007 makes creating queries and reports EZR! Benefits: •  You don't have to know about SQL statements like joins, outer joins, inner joins, or embedded select statements. Basic SQL knowledge is enough. •  More intuitive than Project Server views. For example, all the project level data is in the Project EasyView. •  EZR uses names instead of codes for field, or content, so you immediately see what it is and can insert it into a report •  Timesheet_EasyView for faster and easier timesheet reports - the only timesheet view available!
